Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026
1. What we collect
When you create an account we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture. We also store the tracklists generated from your mixes and the credit transaction history associated with your account.
We do not upload, store, or retain your audio files. All audio processing happens in your browser — only short, anonymous snippets (around 10 seconds) are sent to our recognition provider to identify tracks, and those snippets are not stored by us.
2. How we use it
- To operate your account and display your analysis history
- To process payments and manage your credit balance
- To respond to feedback or support requests you send us
- To improve the service (aggregate, anonymised usage data only)
3. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services as part of the product:
- ACRCloud — audio recognition. Short audio snippets are sent to their API for track identification. See ACRCloud's privacy policy.
- Stripe — payment processing. We do not store card details. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Google OAuth — optional sign-in. See Google's privacy policy.
4. Data retention
Your account data and tracklist history are retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us at hello@tracklistai.com.
5. Cookies
We use a single session token stored in your browser's local storage to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@tracklistai.com.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via the app. Continued use of TracklistAI after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
